Balmoral – photo diary

On Tuesday I walked to Balmoral Beach and spent the day soaking up the sun, dipping into the crystal clear water and enjoying a tasty lunch. All in all a great and relaxing day.

Orange burst

Love this casual look with one of my favourite patterns – stripes.

The pop of vibrant orange from this super cute satchel adds a welcome burst of colour and makes everything more fun.

The sunshine returned today which was amazing – hopefully it sticks around for while!

Neon tweed

Wore this a couple of days ago and confession time – every item is new *opps*

I don’t really have any excuse other than I needed a few new items to help pull together the clothes I did bring with me as for some reason they just don’t feel right now. I really have been having a “I don’t have anything to wear” moment since I arrived and so I decided to fix that in the only way I know how.

Anyways to the outfit in hand – I saw this jacket in Topshop and instantly feel in love with the style, the fit and the colours. I particularly love that it is a modern and updated take on the classic tweed style jacket with the neon detailing. It instantly jazzes up an outfit and more importantly it is just the right thickness for the weather right now as the temperate has dropped here in Sydney.

The draped grey tee is perfectly slouchy whilst the leather shorts add a touch of structure and smartness. Plus they fit perfectly as they aren’t too short!
