So as I mentioned yesterday I may have indulged in a little shopping whilst I’ve been over here in Sydney….

When I was leaving the UK everyone told me the shopping wouldn’t come close to London but I have to disagree. Mainly because they have a lot of the same shops but also because the little boutiques I keep coming across have some amazing finds. Plus there is a massive sale on across Sydney so some of these items are actually bargains haha!

My greatest purchase so far are these amazing sand coloured heeled boots from Topshop that I picked up in the sale and cost me around £17 – crazy money! They are really comfortable and go with EVERYTHING which makes me very happy.

I also picked up these super hot leather shorts from an amazing stall underneath Westfield! I am in love with everything at this place – from their clothes, to their bags to their jewellery and I just know I am will keep spending there! Plus the girl who works there is so sweet!

Hiding under my cap

A little behind on outfit posts and I must admit I can’t remember when I wore this but never mind!!

Kept it simple for another day exploring this fantastic city so went for jeans, silk cami and my new red cap which you can still get here. Really liking this cap as it hides a bad hair day but also adds a sporty edge to an outfit.

Soaking up Sydney

After arriving in Sydney on Thursday morning I was knocked out with jet lag so didn’t achieve much apart from a leisurely stroll around Darling Harbour.

I did however manage to find some time to soak up the sun on a cute little deck which overlooked the Sydney Harbour bridge before indulging in some ice cream.

imageYesterday was spent strolling around the harbour and heading into the city where I spent a good amount of time listening to an amazing acoustic set from a band called Everything After – you can check them out here.

I also managed to enjoy yet another delicious ice cream, this time Nutella flavoured.

In the evening we headed to the Opera Bar which is located under one of the most iconic landmarks in Sydney – the Sydney Opera House. It was an incredible way to experience this amazing building for the first time and the live band was pretty amazing too!

We then headed to a bar called The Arglye which had really cool decor – the DJ was suspended from the ceiling! A really great way to officially start my stay in Australia!

imageI also wore in my new sandals that I picked up in Singapore from a shop called Charles and Keith. It was full of so many things that I wanted and all at really reasonable prices!

Stripes, colbalt blue and a lil leather

So it’s my last week in the UK and it has been filled with drinking, eating, dancing and a little bit of karaoke (more of that later) and saying my ‘see you laters’ to family and friends.

With that in mind I have been jumping from place to place so haven’t been able to take as many outfit posts. Plus my camera has foolishly been at my mum’s place and I have truly got fed up of my iPad pictures.

However I do have a couple of outfits from last week below.
