It’s Friday and I am Scotland bound for work this afternoon!

Have gone for a double lace combo today with my cream lace skirt from H&M and green lace top from Zara. Studded pumps are also from Zara.

Love the peplum detail on this top and I really like the contrast between the light and dark shades of the lace.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

I mean A LOT!

There are certain colours that I am drawn to over again and bright, jewel tones are top of the list. I love greens, purples, blues, pinks – the list is endless. It may be because these tones tend to flatter my skin tone whether I have a tan or not but they look even better when I have a little colour.

Today I am wearing a maxi skirt from Dorothy Perkins, vest top from H&M and gold jelly shoes from Primark.

The shoes are a little silly but when I saw them I was instantly taken back to when I was about 5 or 6, on holiday and wearing my pink, glittery jelly shoes on the beach.

I have a flower headband in my hair and must say I am rather impressed (and surprised) at how easy this hair style was – especially as my hair should really have been washed today!

Pop of pink

I am feeling slightly delicate today after an after work drink turned into several drinks, dinner and then more drinks…. So I needed to pull something together that required very little effort.

And this ASOS dress fits the bill perfectly. With its sweetheart neckline, swing skirt and back detailing you can’t help but love it.

The wedges add a welcome burst of colour and with a high pony and slick of lippie I’m good to go!

Slogan tee and glitter shorts

Photo 23-07-2013 07 53 01 (1) Photo 23-07-2013 07 53 33 (3)When I spotted these sequined shorts in Zara I knew I had to have them even though I had no idea how or when I would wear them!

I knew it would have to be a casual style as these shorts are quite OTT so I have decided to pair them with a slogan tee (Primark) and my Nike trainers.

Cool, casual and a little bit too much!

You may spot that I was so excited by the sequins that I forgot to put the shoes on before taking the pictures!!
