Silky print

The sun has returned to London town and everything looks sunny and glorious!

Today have gone for a semi-casual look but I think these trousers really make the outfit.

They are from Sainsbury’s and when I saw them hanging on the rail I instantly fell in love. The print, the style, the length. At 5ft4 I always struggle to find trousers that are right length; I’m not petite but I am definitely not regular length either! So when I do find a pair of trousers that hit the mark I can’t help but get excited!

And let’s talk about the print – oriental springs to mind but with a modern twist with the black panelling around the ankles. Simply lush!

I am wearing my silk mix jumper from H&M that has really become a firm wardrobe favourite as it goes with pretty much everything. On top of that; because it tends to get a little chilly out of the sun, I am wearing my fur gilet from Debenhams.

I have accesorised with a  beaded bib necklace from Zara that adds a great pop of colour to any outfit.

And finally – because it is sunny and starting to warm up – I have braved sandals. These tan beauties are from Dorothy Perkins and brilliant for work as they are not too high and the chunky heel makes them super comfortable.

Minty fresh

Today I am wearing my white jeans and minty top, both from Zara, with a white shirt from Sainsbury’s. I am wearing my chunky mint necklace that was a gift.

As I went to bed with wet hair last night (tut tut) I have gone for the only option – a messy bun. Hopefully it will keep all the stray hair in one place!

On Saturday night it was my lovely housemates birthday party at The Book Club in Hoxton.

It is not a super smart venue but it was a special occasion so I wanted to dress up a little bit.

Before I wore what I actually wore I was going to wear this sequin dress from Vera Moda that I picked up in the sale – however I wasn’t feeling it when I tried it on.

In the end I decided to wear my sequined skirt from Asos and my white tee and blazer both from Zara. I kept the accessories simple with my ‘love’ necklace from Accessorize.

I plumped for a raspberry lipstick to pull the whole look together. On my nails are a combination of amber with gold flecks – haven’t painted them in a while so it was nice to feel a more polished.

Apologies about the picture quality – I was snapping these as I rushed out the door…

A little green

Well Spring is over as the rain came rolling in late last night and appears to be here to stay…

That said, whilst it is cooler than it has been this week, it still isn’t cold which is nice.

I am wearing black jeans (that are really faded now) from Gap, white shirt from Sainsburys and a sage green jacket from Mango. Tan loafers from River Island complete the look.

This jacket was an absolute bargain at around £30 from Mango a couple of months ago and whilst I haven’t worn it that much I do look at it every week and think I must wear that!

So here I am – wearing it! The gold chain detail is a really nice touch and it does remind me of Chanel whenever I wear it. I think it instantly smartens an outfit and pulls somewhat basic items together effortlessly.

Thank goodness it is Friday – this week does seemed to have gone on a little too long!

Hope you all have fabulous plans for the weekend! x
