Ticket to Wilfred Bagshaw’s Time Emporium – £26.50

Wilfred Bagshaw’s Time Emporium is an immersive, time travelling adventure, which culminates in thrilling, historically themed after-party.

Guests will step through the shabby frontage of the Time Emporium and encounter legendary Victorian Time Traveller Wilfred Bagshawe, and his Time Portal to The Unknown. They will then be sent on an exciting, interactive quest in the distant, medieval past. This is the first opportunity to not only immerse yourself in a fantastic world (travelling back in time to key events in human history) but also to affect the outcome of the narrative itself; to become the protagonists of a truly interactive adventure. And when it’s all over? Well, that’s when the party begins…

Leopard and fur

Today I am wearing a leopard print skirt from ASOS (similar here), grey long sleeve from Primark and fur gilet from Debenhams.

On my feet are my new Zara boots and around my neck is a chunky stone necklace from Accesorize.

Bag candy comes in the form of my Mulberry – I do smile whenever I see that little tree winking back at me!

Hello you lovely thing you!

Hello you lovely thing you!

Breaking parole..

Bit behind on posting this but last Friday evening I went along to Secret Cinema’s production of The Shawshank Redemption.

Secret Cinema are the sister company of Future Cinema and specialise in producing immersive cinematic experiences. Every so often they produce an experience that is so inspiring it leaves you speechless.

The Shawshank Redemption was just that.

It started on Friday evening with us being summoned to court (a library in Bethnal Green) to be sentenced by a not so lenient judge. I was sentenced to 8 years in Oakhampton State Pen for a crime I did not commit.

From there we were transported by the most fabulous retro American bus that I’ve seen to what turned out to be the most beautiful building I have been in.

Once off the bus it was an intense, vibrant and engaging 3 hours filled with drama, laughter and fight scenes before we all sat down to watch the film – complete with popcorn.

I don’t want to go into too much detail in case they bring it back later in the year; part of the genius was the element of surprise. Pretty much from the moment I entered Oakhampton I had no clue what was going to happen next.

It was a slick and sophisticated production with a cast of around 50 actors that provided a truly engaging and immersive experience. You never knew who you were talking to and whether they were friend or foe.

Throughout the evening there were subtle references to the film, all done seamlessly.

The characters were just supberb and they made the whole experience as you could suddenly find yourself caught up in a prison brawl or in an impromptu sing a long!

My friend and I were left speechless when it ended and filled with inspiration – so much so that the film was almost an anti-climax! I could have happily spent several more hours in Oakhampton.

I would highly recommend checking out whatever they do next as I can only imagine they are going to continue to get bigger and better.

Tickets start at £40 but it is so worth it.

Bombing around..

In my new bomber jacket that is.

I picked this little number up from Sainsbury’s and really love the colour and fit. I also think it is going to be an extremely versatile piece which can be dressed up or down.

Today I have gone casual, teaming it with a grey marl tee and jeans from Zara. On my feet are my wedge trainers from Sainsburys and I am wearing my Mango coat and Accesorize gloves to shield me from the arctic conditions outside.

London is really wet and miserable at the moment; I am so desperate for it to start warming up!
