Indulging in Glossybox..

My dear brother and his girlfriend treated me to a subscription to Glossybox for my birthday and the first box arrived this week.

Glossybox is a beauty subscription service which each month delivers 5 beauty miniatures direct to your door. When you subscribe you fill in a beauty profile and they tailor the products they send to match. Each month there is a different theme to the products and this month is Detox.

The first product included is an Elemis Fresh Skin Glow Facial Exfoliator which aims to nurture skin and help prevent premature ageing.

The second product is Duck Island Limited Body Lotion which has an intoxicating aroma of mandarin and bergamot – it smells divine!

Thirdly is a Jason Lips Bee Healthier Lip balm to prevent parched and cracked lips. Then there is a Monu Aromatic Mask – a warming facial mask to help increase vitamin and mineral absorption to instantly renew and invigorate skin.

And finally there is a Premae Skincare Balance Rescue Face Tonique. This refreshing toner for combination skin mattifies and rejuvenates congested skin.

It all arrived in such a pretty little box – a real treat to open! I am so excited to start trying it all out and am I sure I am going to find some new favourites!

Rocking breton stripes and red heels…

Last night I was meeting my darling friend for belated birthday drinks and as I was waiting I popped into Gap to check out the last remains of their sale. And boy am I glad I did! I managed to pick up two striped jumpers (one grey and neon pink and the other classic navy and white) reduced from £35 down to £19.99 – result!

As I am always super excited by new purchases I couldn’t help but wear one of said jumpers today.

I am wearing my new striped jumper from Gap, a white shirt from Sainsbury’s and my denim jeans from Zara. On my feet I am wearing red heels from Primark. My forget-me-knot ring is the final flourish as well as straight hair!

Normally I just rough dry my hair and hope for the best but today I decided to straighten the ends to smarten the look up!

Colour blocking…

It feels like January has been the longest month ever and we still have a week to go!

In an attempt to brighten up proceedings I have gone for bright colours today! I am mostly wearing H&M with my bright blue skirt, coral jumper and necklace all being from there. My leopard print booties are a Clarks bargain from the sales.

The skirt is a really sweet design with two layers to create a slightly fuller look.

As I am the day before a hair wash I have gone with a messy high pony to keep everything off my face!

Monochrome…

Today I am wearing my black leggings from Zara, a cream peplum top from Sainsburys, black and cream cardigan from F&F at Teco and a beetle necklace that was a gift…

Slightly channeling Chanel – oh if only it was the real deal!
